Skills & Passions

I am patient listening to client’s needs and doing jobs that require accuracy in design. I am fast at offering aesthetic solutions and transforming spaces. I love experimenting with enamels on ceramic, photography, trawelling and sea sports.

Work experience

I am  registered as an architect at professional Colegio de Arquitectos de Alicante CTAA (Col 8185). From 2004 to 2021 I am working as a freelance architectural designer by myself or  in collaboration with other companies. This includes: Architectural Design (interiors & exteriors) Film Props, Shop Window Design and finding Locations for Filming.

I have also teached American students at Villa Universitaria of Alicante, at CIEE (Council International Educational Exchange).  On the subject, Evolution of the Process of Spanish Painting, with practical workshops and  visual presentations.

Before 2002, I lived in the UK for ten years, where I worked in different architectural companies based in London and Leeds, in projects such as  Conservation Projects in the area of the canals. In London I also worked for the designer Thomas Heatherwick and Frederick Gibberd Partnership.

Before living in the UK I worked in Valencia, in stand design for International European Exihibitions,  Interior design , and ephemeral constructions  for the regional  Government in museums and exhibitions.

I care for spaces and their uses, atmospheres, design, detail, texture and effects. I Am quick at capturing the abstract concept and at solving challenges that may arise during the process and on site. I can design at different scale from a product to a façade. I enjoy selecting materials, textures, colour schemes, decorative elements, furniture and lighting and I supervise final detail both in workshops and in situ.

My studies in both school of arts, and universities  and my career, have contributed to my interest on observing and paying careful attention to the final detail and create special atmospheres.
